General information

Our Gardens

Visitors and people in our care are welcome to use and enjoy our gorgeous gardens. There is access out of each bay, side room and The Family Room, plus through sliding doors in Bradbury Green. A bed can be moved to the garden if requested. There is also a summerhouse in the garden for use by all.

Pets

Pets are welcome to visit, please let staff know when they are coming. They need to be supervised. We have regular visits from Pets as Therapy (PAT) animals (normally dogs).

Laundry

If friends and family are unable to launder clothes, please tell the ward staff.

Smoking

The Hospice has a no smoking policy throughout the building. Patients can only smoke outside. Staff can help if requested and available.

Visitors must not smoke anywhere other than the smoking shelter at the side of the car park – please ask for directions.

Personal belongings

Personal belongings, especially those that give comfort or enjoyment such as bedding, clothes, toiletries or sentimental pieces of jewellery and pictures, are very welcome to be brought in.

Please avoid bringing in large amounts of money, credit cards or other valuable items.
