Telephone

Calls can be received at the bedside from friends and family anytime by calling the Sylvan Ward on 01284 725700 and the call will be transferred. However, if the nurses are busy, a message will politely ask the caller to ring back later.

A 24-hour telephone advice line – 01284 766133 – is available for all patients and family members as well as healthcare professionals, including General Practitioners, District Nurses and Carers.

Mobile phones can be used as long as they are not a disturbance to other people.

There is a pay phone in the Family Room available for public use.

Internet

Laptops, iPads or smart phones can be used. There is a free wireless internet connection, the SSID is Visitor and the security key is Hospice1.

The Information Centre in Bradbury Green has a computer and lots of information you can browse through.
