We welcome donations of pre-loved furniture, clothes, bric-a-brac, books and household items. Before donating, please check to ensure your items are currently being accepted.

Small donations 

Decluttering or downsizing? Please bring any unwanted clothes, bric-a-brac and small items of furniture directly to us at the Donation Centre. Donations can be dropped off at the Donation Centre between 8.30am and 4.30pm, Monday to Friday. No appointment is needed.

Please note that, for health and safety and insurance reasons, access to the warehouse is restricted to staff and volunteers only.

Larger furniture 

We offer a free furniture viewing & collection service from customers’ houses, within our catchment of West Suffolk and Thetford.

To enquire about viewings and collections, please email furniture@stnh.org.uk, with the following details: 

• Brief description of the item(s)
• Confirmation that any upholstered items have fire regulation labels attached
• Your name and address including postcode
• A daytime telephone number
• Photograph(s) of the item(s)

We will then get in touch with you to arrange a mutually convenient date to view them. If your items are suitable, we will take them away on the day of the viewing.
