Temporary pause on acceptance of clothing donations at our Donation Centre

Due to the high volume of clothing donations we have received in recent weeks, we need to temporarily pause accepting clothing at our Donation Centre for one week, starting on February 9.

This short pause will allow our retail team to sort through the items already received and ensure everything is processed safely and efficiently.

Our shops remain unaffected, and you can find a list of donated items we accept by clicking here.

At our Donation Centre we remain very happy to receive:

• Bric a brac

• Furniture donations.

We are truly grateful for the kindness of our community. Your donations help us continue providing vital care and support. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and ongoing generosity.

We accept your pre-loved furniture, clothes, bric-a-brac, books and household items

If you are getting new furniture, we would be delighted if you choose to donate your pre-loved sofas, tables and chairs, wardrobes, etc., to the Hospice.

If you are having a spring clean and clearing out your wardrobe, please bring any unwanted clothes, bric-a-brac and small items of furniture directly to us.

For larger items, we are also now able to offer a furniture collection service from customers’ houses.

We offer collections from Bury St Edmunds and surrounding areas within our catchment of West Suffolk and Thetford. To arrange a collection please call the Donation Centre on 01284 747622 or email furniture@stnh.org.uk.
