Rob Moon, Director of Income Generation

Rob joined St Nic’s in November 2025, with over 17 years’ experience in fundraising, having previously worked at East Anglia Air Ambulance and Macmillan Cancer Support.

Before making the switch to the third sector, Rob had a diverse career – he spent his early working life in varied roles including, Postman, Landscape Gardener, Cab Driver and Media Sales Manager. These experiences have helped him develop the skills to build relationships with people from all walks of life, something he believes has given him a unique perspective on people and helped him develop as a leader.

In his time at Macmillan, he led a team of over 100 staff across the UK, introducing a new strategy focusing on delivering bespoke supporter experiences to drive lifetime values. He took this experience to East Anglia Air Ambulance where he led on their public appeal for a new Cambridge Airbase.

Rob’s role as St Nic’s Director of Income Generation sees Rob lead and be responsible for Fundraising, Retail and Marketing and Communications.
