Light up a Life
Join our special season of remembrance, Light up a Life, and celebrate the love, joy and happiness that those we miss brought into our lives.
Events will be taking place in churches across West Suffolk and Thetford, and there will also be a pre-recorded online service available from December 21. An online book of remembrance has also been set up.
Virtual Bucket Shake
During the festive season, our bucket collectors are usually out in force. You’d see them in supermarkets and shopping areas raising vital funds for St Nic’s.
After carefully considering the risks of Covid-19 on the health, safety and wellbeing of our wonderful volunteers and generous donors, we’ve made the difficult decision not to go ahead with our collections in the usual way.
But we have a plan B – our Virtual Bucket Shake, and we are calling on our supporters to get involved.
Throughout the festive season, we will have a number of events and activities running to raise much-needed funds for St Nic’s.
If you’re looking to purchase Christmas cards, attend events our supporters are hosting in aid of us, or book your Christmas tree collection slot, please click on the link below to find out more.
As well as running our own events, our community support us by organising their own fundraising events and activities. Everything from skydives to cake sales.
You can find St Nicholas Hospice Care shops across West Suffolk as well as our online eBay and Amazon shop and Donations Centre, in Bury St Edmunds.
