Resources for school, college and university staff

For staff, we offer training on emotional resilience, grief and bereavement. It is hoped these sessions can help create confidence to support teams, self and students and be able to signpost where needed.

Training sessions

Emotional Resilience
This session aims to provide a tool for teams to support each other following adverse, difficult or challenging situations. The team will work through a debriefing model to recognise their strengths, protective factors, vulnerabilities and adversities to overcome those challenging situations using a reflective model. This strategy will aim to empower the team to off-load emotions, feelings and move forward with positivity.

Grief and Bereavement
This session aims to explore social beliefs on various types of loss and the impact on individuals. It looks at different grief models, exploring different reactions to grief, and what is helpful and what is not.
