Sam Turner – Trustee

Career profile:

I currently work for the government agency Acas.

After originally joining as an apprentice I have worked in conciliation, training and most recently as a mediator.

I understand the importance of good employment relations and recognise that an organisation’s greatest asset is, of course, its people.

I was fortunate to act as a shadow trustee for the Hospice since January 2020 as part of a young trustee programme. I am delighted to have now been given the opportunity to continue in the role permanently.

Interests:

Outside of work I am a keen sportsman with golf and cricket taking up most of my weekends. Also an Ipswich Town season ticket holder which hopefully doesn’t upset anyone (other than me after this season)!
