Vehicle Maintenance Volunteer

community-nurse-in-vehicle

St Nicholas Hospice Care is a successful and much-loved charity serving the local area of West Suffolk and Thetford. Every year we support nearly 2,000 local people, delivering care across multiple settings. Our services are not just for patients, but for their family and friends too, and include everything from specialist medical care to bereavement support and practical help.

Can you help keep our care on the move?

Based at our Hardwick Lane main site, our Facilities team is currently seeking volunteers to assist with the basic maintenance of our vehicle fleet. You will help to ensure they are clean, well maintained and safe to drive, so that our Community Nursing Team can continue to deliver crucial care to patients across West Suffolk and Thetford.

If you have a few hours available each week, or a day or two per month, we would love to hear from you. Full training and support will be given. As a St Nicholas Hospice Care volunteer you will be part of our wonderful St Nics community, with access to social events, discounts in our retail stores, and regular updates on our services.

For more information please read the Role Profile or contact Brian Moss, Assistant Facilities Manager.
