Van Driver

St Nicholas Hospice Care is a successful and much-loved charity serving the local area of West Suffolk and Thetford. Every year we support nearly 2,000 local people, delivering care across multiple settings. Our services are not just for patients, but for their family and friends too, and include everything from specialist medical care to bereavement support and practical help.

We are recruiting a Van Driver to join our warehouse team. The role is responsible for the collection and delivery of goods to and from the Hospice, the Retail Shops, members of the public and other agencies as directed

The successful applicant will:

  • Have some previous experience working within a commercial retail environment
  • Have a clean Full Drivers Licence with the ability to drive up to a 3500kg van
  • Be able to use a Map and Sat Nav
  • Have knowledge of the local geographical area
  • Be passionate about good customer care

Please note the role can be physically demanding and includes heavy lifting so candidates should be physically fit.

Permanent role
Full time, 37 hours per week
£22,942 per annum
