Assistant Educator
St Nicholas Hospice Care is a local charity providing help, advice and support to people in West Suffolk and Thetford who are living with long-term and life-threatening illnesses. Our services are not just for patients, but for their family and friends too. They include everything from specialist medical care to bereavement support and practical help. St Nicholas Hospice is dedicated to its vision that everyone in our communities has support, dignity and choice when facing dying, death and grief.
A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced assistant educator to work alongside our clinical teams to support the provision of high quality, safe and compassionate care.
You will also be supporting and delivering palliative care education in a variety of care settings as part of Hospice Education (three hospice education collaborative across the Suffolk and North East Essex ICS).
You will have experience of working within palliative or end of life care as a senior care assistant ideally in the community and / or care setting. We are seeking someone who can develop creative approaches to the delivery of learning and support the practice educator develop a learning culture.

Contract Details
Permanent, part-time 15 Hours per week
£25,959 per annum (£10,524 pro rata)
