Significant donations from organisations, trusts, foundations and individuals help us deliver our services for people facing death, dying and grief across West Suffolk and Thetford.

Here at St Nicholas Hospice Care we are keen to work with people and organisations who would like to make a big impact with their giving.

Big gifts can help us deliver vital services to the local community and create a sustainable future for our work.

We will work with you to explore the areas of our work which interest you, and help ensure you can make the most impact with your gift.

From making a one-off or multi-year gift, to donating shares or giving through a trust or foundation, there are many ways your support can help.

Hospice Guardians

Our incredible Hospice Guardians are a group of kind, compassionate supporters who donate regularly to ensure our services are here for local people facing dying, death and grief.

It costs around £8m a year to run the Hospice, including all our specialist nursing, bereavement and support services. We receive some statutory funding but this only covers around 20% of our costs.

Hospice Guardians pledge to give £2,000 or more a year to help ensure our services are here for the people who need them.

Grants and donations from trusts and foundations help fund a wide range of our services and projects. From small, local trusts to large, national foundations, every donations helps people facing death, dying and grief.
