Voluntary donations

Donations made in support of the Hospice’s Sunset Walk fundraiser are voluntary and non-refundable except where required by law.

Song requests

While every effort will be made to play requested songs, requests cannot be guaranteed.

Music availability

Requested songs can only be played where RWSfm has access to the track through its licensed music library or approved broadcast sources.

Broadcast suitability

All songs and dedication messages must comply with applicable broadcasting regulations, including the Ofcom Broadcasting Code. RWSfm reserves the right to refuse or remove any song or message considered inappropriate, offensive, defamatory, discriminatory, explicit, or otherwise unsuitable for broadcast.

Edited versions

Where necessary, radio edit or clean versions of songs may be used.

Dedication messages

Dedication messages may be edited for clarity, length, legal compliance, or suitability for broadcast.

Scheduling

Song requests and dedications will be scheduled at the discretion of RWSfm producers and presenters. Specific broadcast times cannot be guaranteed.

Technical issues

RWSfm cannot be held responsible for technical failures, connectivity issues, or unforeseen circumstances that may prevent a requested song or dedication from airing.

Programme decisions

To ensure the programme is appropriate for all listeners and complies with broadcasting guidelines, RWSfm may occasionally be unable to include certain songs or messages.

Data protection

Personal information provided for dedications will only be used for administering the dedication show and related fundraising activity, in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

Changes to the show

RWSfm reserves the right to alter, postpone, or cancel the dedication show if circumstances beyond its control make this necessary.
