Sabrina takes the plunge for Hospice with a sponsored Skydive

After deciding she wanted to support the charity which had cared for her mother, Sabrina Vahidi, reached new heights and raised £310 for St Nicholas Hospice Care, with a sponsored skydive.

Sabrina completed her skydive on Wednesday, 17 August which would have been her mother’s birthday.

“The doctors and nurses at the Hospice provided excellent care and support for my mum during her final weeks so it was my way of saying a huge thank you,” said Sabrina.

When describing the skydive, which took place in Dunkeswell, Devon, Sabrina said it was hard to put into words how it felt other than to say it was ‘amazing’.

She said: “The view from the sky is absolutely incredible and the sensation that goes with it is surreal. It feels more like you’re floating instead of a flying sensation.”

The whole thing was just amazing.
