Royal Exchange Angling Club’s efforts yield hundreds for Hospice

A year of fundraising has lead Haverhill’s Royal Exchange Angling Club to raise £700 for St Nicholas Hospice Care.

The Royal Exchange Angling club picked the Hospice as their charity of the year for 2016.

George Chilvers, hospice Community Fundraiser, said: “The funds the Royal Exchange Angling Club has raised will really make a big difference to the Hospice.

“Their fundraising efforts will help us continue to fund the care and support those who use our services and their families need.”

The club raised the funds by holding a variety of events including an annual charity fishing match and a raffle for which many made generous prize donations.

There is an open house in Haverhill on the 24th of January 2017. Read all about it here.
