Businesses back hospice by joining new supporters club
Last month the Hospice launched its new Corporate Supporters Club.
Since then we have been inundated with support from the business community, with 18 companies signing up in the first month.
So far, the Beckett Investment Group, Lucy Cronin 365, Treatt, Havebury, Hugh J Boswell, Precision, Lark Technology, Atkins Dellow, St Edmundsbury Wealth Management, Thomas and Young, Lacy Scott and Knight, The Coffee House, A Class Care, Greene & Greene, Martin & Co, SMART, Glasswells and Larkbridge have all pledged their support for the cause.
Abby Mayes, the Hospice’s corporate fundraising manager, said: “I really have been so pleased with the wonderful support our local businesses and companies have shown.
“At a time when things are difficult for us all, they haven’t hesitated to support the hospice and I am so grateful for their continued generosity.
“By Joining the Corporate Supporters Club, which is kindly sponsored by 1 Accounts Online, they have donated much-needed funds, which will help us continue to care for those who need it most.”
Businesses can either donate £300 to join or fundraise the same amount.
The club, which is sponsored by 1 Accounts Online, has so far proved a popular way for businesses to keep supporting the Hospice after it had to postpone its annual fundraising event for businesses the Accumulator Challenge for 2020.
