Business puts in the effort during year-long fundraising campaign
A Haverhill business pulled out all the stops during their year-long fundraising campaign to raise more than £1,000 for our charity.
The team from Nine Jars has handed over £1,094.58, after they picked the Hospice as their charity of the year for 2017 because they wanted to help an organisation, which supported people across the local area.
The money was raised through roast dinner promotions, a Santa’s sleigh event and various collections, and was presented earlier this month.
Abby Mayes, Hospice Corporate Fundraiser, said: “We are so grateful to the Nine Jars team for their continued support. We were so pleased when they told us they wanted us to be their charity of the year for 2017 and the efforts they have put in for us are much appreciated.
“Raising money for a charity for a whole year certainly isn’t an easy job but the funds they have collected from their countless activities really will make a difference to the Hospice and the people we support across the community.”
