Band night at pub will raise charity funds

A pub will be filled with live music as bands come together to raise Hospice funds.

The white Horse Inn, in Badwell Ash, will host the charitable occasion, which will see three bands take centre stage in aid of St Nicholas Hospice Care.

Taking place on Saturday, 28 March, all funds raised from the event, which will see the talents of Bootleg Vinyl, Behind the Nut and Shar, will go to support the work the hospice does across the area supporting those living with dying, death and grief.

Alan McBean, who is organising the music for the event, said: “The pub’s landlord has supported St Nicholas Hospice Care before and it is a very worthy charity.

“It’s such a great charity that should be supported as we all hope we never need the hospice but it’s very reassuring to know it’s there.”

Alan is hoping local business will come forward to back the event, and support a raffle, which would add to the events fundraising total.

The event, which includes a barbecue, will run from 8pm and with Alan promising a great venue and atmosphere for all those who attend.
