Virtual Singing Group

The Hospice’s Virtual Singing Group is run by Hospice volunteers and offers music as a therapeutic form of support.
Who can attend?

This group is aimed at encouraging everyone in the Hospice community to sing. It is increasingly well documented that regular singing has significant health and psychological benefits. The group meets online every Monday morning and is aimed at supporting people with long-term or life-threatening illnesses.

These virtual sessions will take place using the online communication tool Zoom.

Before you attend one of our Virtual Singing sessions, if you could read some guidance and information we would be most grateful. You can read the guidance and information by clicking here.

To enable you to join Virtual Singing sessions you will need to have Zoom downloaded.

The tool is free to download, and you can do so by clicking here. To save time on the day it might be a good idea to download in advance.

When signing up it will ask for a work email address, please don’t worry just use the address you usually use.

When does it run?

Every Monday (except Bank Holidays), 10.30am – 11.15am.
You can access the session by clicking here. The meeting ID is: 842 3185 8671 and the passcode: 337563.

Due to the coronavirus, all of our face-to-face support groups and sessions in the community and at the Hospice are not currently running at this time. This includes activities usually held at the Haverhill Hub.

As well as our Virtual Singing Group, we are working on developing more virtual groups and support, as well as guidance and information you may find useful. Please, click here to find out more.
