Dr Pat Murrell returns with the latest in her series of popular lectures, Step Back in Time, in aid of St Nicholas Hospice Care.

In this new lecture, Pat Murrell exposes what Bury’s polite society really thought about some of their contemporaries and their actions. Based upon local unpublished private correspondence, personal diaries and a variety of other sources, Pat has left no stone unturned to ‘dish the dirt’ on some of Bury’s genteel inhabitants.

To be among the first to hear the ‘tittle-tattle’ of the day, make a note of the date and, of course, pass it on to others!

Refreshments included in the ticket price. Cakes and biscuits made to recipes of the period.

This event takes place on Thursday, 26 February at 8pm (doors open at 7.30pm), at the United Reformed Church, Whiting Street, Bury St Edmunds.

Previous events have sold out, so advance booking is essential.
