Are you new to using a syringe pump, or would you like to refresh your knowledge and confidence?
Join us for an interactive training session designed to support healthcare professionals in the safe and effective use of syringe pumps for symptom management in palliative and end-of-life care.
The session will cover:
- Clinical indications for using a syringe pump
- Common symptoms managed with continuous subcutaneous infusion
- Commonly used medications and considerations
- Recognition of red flags and safe practice
- Practical use of the Syringe Pump equipment
- Monitoring, troubleshooting, and documentation
- Case studies to support clinical decision-making
Whether you are completely new to syringe pumps or simply need a refresher, this course will provide the knowledge and practical skills to support safe, effective symptom management.

Parking
Hardwick Lane: Free car parking is available at the front of the Hospice. Visitors must sign in at Reception.
Barton Road: Free parking is available directly outside the Donation Centre or behind Farm Foods next door.
Cancellation Policy
Please contact us at the earliest opportunity. We ask for at least 48 hours’ notice for the cancellation of our courses. For cancellations within 48 hours of the event, any course fee paid will be retained. Fees will also be retained if you do not attend the session on the set date. All courses are subject to change or cancellation; suitable notification will be provided.
