The Edge Terms and Conditions
The Edge is not a race.
All participants must register before Friday, 9 July at 9am. We may consider sign-ups on the day, but this will be at the Event Manager’s discretion. There are two tariffs for The Edge 2021. There is an early bird entry price, with a £5 saving, valid up to and including 31 May 2021 and then a post early bird sign up amount. There is also a £25 family rate offer for the 15-mile ride for up to a family of up to five. The family rate is excluded from the early bird offer.
Once you have paid your entry fee to The Edge Cycle Ride, and you wish to support the Hospice further, you can set up an online giving page, such as through Just Giving, or you will receive a downloadable version of our sponsorship form. If sponsorship money is raised, money and forms should be returned to us by 31 August 2021. You are not permitted to use any of the sponsorship money raised to pay for your entry fee or any expenses. All sponsorship money must be given directly to St Nicholas Hospice Care.
Upon receipt of your online entry form and fee, we will issue a confirmation email, which has sponsorship forms (if you wish). Your place is not confirmed until you receive this.
A route map will be shared with you by email and available to view on our website prior to the event.
We are monitoring the developments relating to the coronavirus pandemic and following the updates and advice given by the UK Government. The health and safety of our supporters, volunteers and staff is paramount and we will continue to monitor the situation and make recommendations as required.
If you cancel, the registration fee is non-refundable, sponsorship can be offered back although any fees incurred to St Nicholas Hospice Care from online donation pages or equivalent will be deducted first. If St Nicholas Hospice Care cancels the event, we would seek to provide an alternative date or offer a refund.
