Pedal with purpose

The St Nic’s Cycle Ride returns for its second year on Sunday 10 May, building on the success of its debut as the successor to our long‑standing Edge Cycle Ride.

This year brings a choice of routes, new challenges and an opportunity for our community to come together.

Sponsored by Atkins Dellow, the St Nic’s Cycle Ride will see us team up once again with our event partner Maglia Rosso Cycling Centre, so whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or just looking for your next big adventure, this challenge is designed for everyone.

Choose your challenge

With on-road routes of 25km, 50km, and 100km*, there’s a distance for every ability. Plus, for those who like a mix of terrains, our 65km gravel route** combines road and off-road tracks for a unique experience.

All routes start and finish at the Maglia Rosso Cycling Centre in Hawstead, showcasing the stunning West Suffolk countryside along the way.

* All route distances are approximate. This is not a closed-road ride. Wherever possible, minor roads are used.
** This route will be a combination of gravel tracks and minor roads.

Register and receive a free training plan

Whichever route you choose to tackle, it’s never too early to start preparing. Special thanks to Josh McGuire (Max Power PT), who has provided a free training programme to help you prepare for the event. More information will be provided once registered.

Why not turn your ride into a fundraiser?

Set up a JustGiving page or download our sponsorship form to provide much-needed funds for Hospice services.

Anyone who sets up a JustGiving page for the St Nic’s Cycle Ride 2026 and raises at least £10 in support of St Nicholas Hospice Care by 11.59pm on 3 May will be entered automatically into our special prize draw.
