High hopes a special tree will grow tall

A new Oak tree has been planted at St Nicholas Hospice Care to commemorate the Coronation of King Charles III in the 40th year of the Hospice.

As staff and volunteers gathered, the tree was planted by the tree by the Hospice’s founder, Richard Norburn’s widow, Joyce.

After planting the tree, Joyce, said: “I plant this Oak tree to commemorate the Coronation of King Charles III and on the day we launch the 40th anniversary of St Nicholas Hospice Care.”

A blessing then followed.
