Works of art will raise funds for St Nic’s

Sixty members of the Suffolk Art Society will be exhibiting paintings during an exhibition, which will also raise funds for St Nic’s.

The exhibition will be at the Church of St Peter & St Paul in Lavenham, and will run from May 25 to June 9. It will cover many different subjects in a variety of media, and all work on display will be for sale.

Suffolk Art Society, established in 1954, has 100 members from across East Anglia.
Membership is by selection and the Society aims to showcase a high standard of artistic talent. During the exhibition, visitors can vote for their favourite painting.

This year the Society will support St Nicholas Hospice’s work by contributing 20% of net profits.

Entry to the exhibition is free, and the opening hours are:

  • Saturday, 25 May, from 1-6 pm.
  • Sunday, 26 May, from midday to 6pm
  • Monday, 27 May, to Saturday, 8 June, from 9am to 6pm
  • Sunday, 9 June, from midday to 6pm.
