Skydive Day 2026 Terms & Conditions
If you choose to register your place for the Skydive Day 2026, you must agree to the Terms and Conditions of entry below.
The Skydive Day event is organised by St Nicholas Hospice Care and UK Parachuting (Beccles Airfield), taking place on Sunday 16 August.
St Nicholas Hospice Care will arrange the jump for you, and UK Parachuting is responsible for the jump.
Once you have registered your details, St Nicholas Hospice Care will pass your information to UK Parachuting for event purposes only. UK Parachuting will provide communication regarding your jump.
Non-refundable booking fee
Upon completing the online registration form on the St Nicholas Hospice Care website, you will be asked for a self-funded, non-refundable registration fee of £50 to secure your booking. This goes towards the cost of your skydive.
This must be submitted by 9am on Wednesday, 29 July 2026.
Should any changes in your circumstances occur that may prevent your participation, you must let the Events Team know as soon as possible by emailing events@stnh.org.uk.
Age Restriction
All participants must be aged 16 or over on Sunday, 16 August 2026. There is no upper age limit.
If you are over 16 and under 18, you will need parent/guardian permission. Said permission and contact information of your parent/guardian must be submitted as part of your registration form on the St Nicholas Hospice Care website.
Your parent/guardian will need to be present on the day at UK Parachuting.
A Student Declaration is also required by UK Parachuting with parental/guardian consent. This form must be completed prior to your training and jump and signed by your Parent/Guardian. UK Parachuting will provide this form to sign upon the registration of your place.
Fundraising Pledge
You agree to raise a minimum sponsorship of £400. You agree to raise funds for St Nicholas Hospice Care only.
Breaking that down, once the £50 deposit is paid, a remaining balance of £190 is paid to UK Parachuting for the cost of your Skydive from your sponsorship, meaning that at least £210 of your sponsorship goes to St Nicholas Hospice Care.
You understand that the aim of this event is to raise as much above the minimum fundraising target as possible.
Your total sponsorship should be deposited with us by Monday, 14 September 2026.
Safety and Fitness
You are required to lift your legs up in front of you to avoid injury to yourself and your instructor on landing. You must have the strength, flexibility and limb control to achieve this.
As per UK Parachuting’s terms, the weight limit for a Tandem Sky dive is Male 15 stone 8lbs (100 Kg’s), Women 15 stone 6 pounds (99Kg’s) with clothing. Weight must be in proportion to height. The maximum permitted BMI is 39.9.
Upon registration, UK Parachuting will require you to complete a self-declaration medical certificate, regardless of age.
If you have any chronic health issues, you must obtain a Doctor’s Certificate before jumping.
If you have any further queries, please refer to UK Parachuting’s FAQ page, and if necessary, contact UK Parachuting directly at jump@ukparachuting.co.uk to organise an assessment with their Chief Instructor.
Cancellation
If you cancel your place in the Skydive Day event, the £50 registration fee is non-refundable.
Sponsorship can be offered back, although any fees incurred to St Nicholas Hospice Care from online donation pages or equivalent will be deducted first.
If St Nicholas Hospice Care or the event organiser (UK Parachuting) cancels the jump on Sunday 16 August, you will be offered to rebook for another date.
Places are not transferable and places cannot be deferred to next year’s event.
