35 stories for 35 years: Our staff

In 2006, the Hospice recruited its first permanent palliative care consultant to enhance and support the medical team.

Dr Jenna Kitchen was appointed to lead the medical team of practitioners and associate specialists. Dr Sarah Mollart, who joined in September 2013, succeeded Dr Kitchen.

In early 2016, a second palliative care consultant, Dr Mary McGregor was employed to work alongside Dr Mollart. Now both doctors are able to offer daily support to West Suffolk Hospital alongside their work at the Hospice.
