Winter garden blooms thanks to firm’s kindness
Those being cared for by St Nic’s will be able to look out and enjoy seeing an array of seasonal plants and flowers after Thomas Ridley Foodservice donated funds to help create the perfect winter garden at our Hardwick Lane Hospice.
Justin Godfrey, Group Managing Director at Thomas Ridley Foodservice, said: “At Thomas Ridley Foodservice, we are proud to be supporting St Nicholas Hospice Care and their remarkable winter garden.
“We hope that this garden will provide smiles to the faces who need it most.”
Staff and volunteers work all year round to ensure our garden is always in tip-top shape, and the new plants and greenery will provide a seasonal freshen up.
Abby Mayes, our corporate fundraising manager, said: “We are so grateful to Thomas Ridley Foodservice for their generosity.
“The Hospice’s garden has always been a place for those we care for, visitors, staff and volunteers to enjoy. Although things are very different at the moment, these new plants and shrubs have certainly brightened up the space, and I hope those staying on our ward and those caring for them enjoy looking out on them.
“Thank you to everyone who has supported our winter garden.”
The garden has also been supported by Rougham Nurseries, and thanks go to them for their service and generosity.
