Hospice given a helping hand by Audi
Getting out and about has been made easier for the Hospice’s fundraising team thanks to a little help from a car dealership.
Bury St Edmunds Audi, on Skyliner Way, which is part of the Marriott Motor Group, has loaned the charity a new Audi A1.
The dealership, which has helped the hospice out with the loan of a car before also supports the charity with sponsorship of events such as Girls Night Out and by taking part in the Jacobs Allen Accumulator Challenge, which sees local businesses compete to raise as much as they can for the cause over the summer months.
Abby Mayes Hospice Corporate Fundraiser said: “As a charity it is important that as many people in our local area are aware of us and most importantly of what we do. The fundraising team is a big part of that as we attend events across West Suffolk and Thetford letting people know about the services we provide.
“The use of this car will make a big difference to us. It will allow us to visit more local groups and individuals who fundraise on our behalf and attend more of the brilliant events they run for us.”
