Beck Row Primary School’s Harvest festival yields bumper crop for Hospice
Pupils’ charitable efforts have helped those cared for by our Hospice.
Youngsters from Beck Row Primary School collected masses of tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits as part of their Harvest Festival.
As they have done for many years the school then donated the items to St Nicholas Hospice Care and the Rainbow Ward at West Suffolk Hospital.
Miranda McCoy, Community Fundraiser at St Nicholas Hospice Care said: “We are very grateful to everyone at Beck Row Primary School for their kind donation, which I know will be enjoyed by the people we care for.
“Once again thank you to the school for thinking of our charity once again their support is very much appreciated.”
The school also held a non-uniform day late last month where children could wear their own clothes if they made a donation to the Harvest collection.
