Update to St Nicholas Hospice Care’s Statement of Purpose

Following a national Hospice Registration Review Project, St Nicholas Hospice Care has been advised by the Care Quality Commission  (CQC) that we are no longer required to formally register Personal Care as part of our Statement of Purpose.

Instead, Personal Care is now included in the Treatment of Disease, Disorder and Injury part of our registration.

This amendment does not affect the level or type of service provided by the Hospice in any way. Our Statement of Purpose, which among other things describes what St Nicholas Hospice Care does, where we provide services and who we provide services for.
