The first ever Thetford Open Gardens Curry Night will take place on Monday, 14 April, at the New Saffron in White Hart Street.

This will be the first event in Thetford Open Gardens fundraising drive for 2025, and tickets are now on sale, and selling fast so don’t wait before booking!

Diners will have their taste buds tingled with a two-course meal, including a choice of main course and sides.

Entertainment will be provided by a blind raffle, so don’t forget to bring some extra pennies, we have some fantastic prizes including a meal for two with a bottle of wine, hampers and bottles of fizz – all proceeds will be going to St Nicholas Hospice Care.

“It’ll be a fun night with delicious food and great company. We desperately need to raise as much money as possible for the Hospice this year after the loss of the Norfolk & Waveney ICB funding.” Said Thetford Open Gardens Chair, Karen-Emma White.

Thetford Open Gardens has been fundraising for St Nicholas Hospice Care since 2006. Every year, they host at least three large fundraising events, including our their Open Gardens in June.

Why do we do they do it? Some members of the team volunteer their time in memory of a loved one who used Hospice services, while others recognise the importance of the services St Nic’s delivers to the Thetford area and want others to be able to access that help in their time of need.

This year’s campaign is dedicated to Liz Hodgson, one of the founders of Thetford Open Gardens, who sadly died in January.

The committee are hoping to exceed last year’s total of £14,881.74 – and with your help, they can do it!
