Fill our shops and Hospice with blooms

Where?

St Nicholas Hospice Care, Hardwick Lane, Bury Saint Edmunds, UK

When?

February 17, 2025

Are you a keen knitter or crocheter? We need you to help us celebrate all of the Open Garden events being held in 2025 for St Nicholas Hospice Care.

We’re calling on crafters to create beautiful woollen flowers, which will be used to:

·       Create displays at our Hospice which will brighten up the spaces for those in our care, visitors, staff and volunteers.

·       Add a splash of colour and creativity to our hospice shops and be enjoyed by staff, volunteers, customers and supporters.

Flowers can be of any size or colour, and we encourage you to get creative!

If you’d like to, you can find out more about Open Gardens events in aid of St Nicholas Hospice Care including The Hidden Gardens of Bury and Thetford Open Gardens please keep an eye on the events pages on our website.

Flowers can be dropped off at any of our shops, and there will also be a drop box outside the charity’s Hospice building in Hardwick Lane.

To ensure our displays can be up in plenty of time, we will need flowers to be with us before May 30. You might start to see flowers up in our shops sooner, but we will keep adding to the displays.

Unfortunately, we won’t be able to guarantee the return of woollen flowers.
