A much-loved amateur dramatics group in Haverhill is preparing to take centre stage for two charities cause, as Centre Stage Company kicks off its latest production with a special Gala Night to raise funds for St Nicholas Hospice Care and Cancer Research UK. 

The Gala Night, taking place on Tuesday, 20 May 2025, at Haverhill Arts Centre, marks the opening night of Calendar Girls – a moving and inspirational play based on the true story of a group of women who turned personal tragedy into a force for good.

 In true community spirit, 100% of the ticket sales from the Gala Night will be donated to the charities, and the evening will also feature a heartfelt sunflower dedication opportunity, where audience members can honour or remember a loved one, as well as a fabulous fundraising raffle.
