Fireworks in the Abbey Gardens

Join us for a magical evening under the stars!

Experience the wonder of spectacular fireworks lighting up the historic skies above Bury St Edmunds’ Abbey Gardens, all in support of a truly meaningful cause.

This event is being organised in partnership by event partners St Edmundsbury Theatre Services and St Nicholas Hospice Care, with support from Bury St Edmunds Town Council.

This unforgettable night will feature:  

  • A dazzling fireworks display
  • Delicious food and drink stalls, as well as a bar
  • Family-friendly entertainment and activities, including fairground rides
  • A warm community atmosphere in one of Suffolk’s most iconic settings

All proceeds go directly to St Nicholas Hospice Care, helping provide compassionate support to individuals and families facing life-limiting illnesses across West Suffolk and Thetford.

The firework display will take place inside the Abbey Gardens in Bury St Edmunds. Gates open from 5pm, with the display starting at 7pm. Event closes at 9pm.
