Clay Pigeon Shoot Day Terms and Condition

Event Overview

Participation

1. Eligibility: Participants must be at least 18 years old and must comply with all applicable UK laws and regulations.

2. Registration: All participants must complete the registration form and pay the entry fee by 27 September.

3. Team Composition: Teams will consist of four members. Individual participants will be assigned to a team.

4. Experience: No prior experience in clay pigeon shooting is required. Instructors will be available for guidance.

Safety

5. Safety Briefing: All participants must attend a mandatory safety briefing before the event begins.

6. Equipment: All necessary equipment, including firearms, ammunition, and safety gear, will be provided by the organiser.

7. Conduct: Participants must adhere to all safety instructions provided by the instructors and organisers. Unsafe behaviour may result in immediate disqualification.

Liability

8. Waiver: By participating in the event, participants agree to sign a liability waiver, releasing Eriswell Lodge and St Nicholas Hospice Care from any claims related to personal injury, loss, or damage.

9. Insurance: Participants are responsible for their own insurance coverage for personal accidents or injuries.

Fundraising

10. Entry Fee: The entry fee for participation is £495 per team of four people, which includes shooting, breakfast, refreshments and a three course lunch.

11. Donations: All proceeds from the entry fees and additional donations will go directly to St Nicholas Hospice Care.

12. Sponsorship: Participants are encouraged to seek sponsorships to raise additional funds. Sponsorship forms and guidelines are available upon request.

Conduct

13. Behaviour: Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner. Any behaviour deemed inappropriate by the organisers may result in disqualification.

14. Alcohol and Drugs: Consumption of alcohol or illegal drugs before or during the event is strictly prohibited. Participants found under the influence will be disqualified.

Cancellation and Refunds

15. Cancellation by Organiser: The organiser reserves the right to cancel the event due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, entry fees will be refunded.

16. Cancellation by Participant: Participants who wish to cancel their registration must do so by 13 September to receive a full refund. Cancellations after this date will not be refunded.

Photography and Media

17. Consent: By participating in the event, participants consent to being photographed and filmed. The organiser reserves the right to use any photographs or video footage for promotional purposes.

Governing Law

19. Jurisdiction: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
