Reserve your place at our special service to mark milestone year
Join St Nicholas Hospice Care as it celebrates 40 years of providing vital care and support to people across West Suffolk and Thetford.
The Hospice, which supports local people facing dying, death and grief, is currently celebrating 40 years of caring and, as part of its celebration of this milestone, will be holding Thankful: a Service of Remembrance and Celebration hosted by St Edmundsbury Cathedral, Bury St Edmunds.
The special service, which takes place on Sunday, 12 May at 3.30pm will remember all of those who have received the hospice’s care and support over the past four decades, and celebrate those many people who have made this care possible.
Linda McEnhill, the hospice’s chief executive officer, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming the community to our Thankful Service and extend a very warm welcome to all who wish to join us.
“For St Nic’s, the occasion will serve as an opportunity to express our deepest gratitude to all those who have played a role in building and sustaining our legacy. From volunteers and donors to staff members and community partners, so many individuals have contributed to the care and support we have been able to provide to local residents over the past 40 years.”
Following the service, refreshments will be served in the Cathedral Cloisters, where there will be live music playing. Art canvases, which have been specially created, will also be on display.
If you’d like to attend the service, you must reserve your seat(s). You can do this by clicking here or by calling the Hospice’s Supporter Care Team on 01284 715566 or by emailing supportercare@stnh.org.uk.
All reservations must be made by April 26.
