Hospice to hold recruitment open event
St Nicholas Hospice Care is welcoming all to attend a recruitment open event to learn more about job and career opportunities available at the Hospice.
We’ll be opening the doors of our Hardwick Lane Hospice site on Saturday, 20 January, and hope those interested in finding out more about what we do will come along.
The event will also be a chance to learn more about the exciting career opportunities and volunteer roles currently available and meet the people behind some of our services.
From catering to volunteering in retail shops to clinical jobs on our inpatient unit and nursing roles in the community, people can support the charity’s work in many ways.
Sharon Basson, our Clinical Services Director, said: “At St Nic’s, we believe in providing exceptional care and support to our patients and their families during the most challenging of times. Our teams deliver and enable care that is filled with comfort and compassion and wrapped in dignity.
“We are looking forward to welcoming people into the hospice and offering them more insight into who we are and what we do.
“For those who might want to become a little bit more involved with St Nic’s, whether that’s by joining our team or giving your time as a volunteer, there will be people you can speak to if you wish to.
“We hope to see as many people as possible.”
The open event runs from 9am to 1pm. You can show up on the day, but it would be helpful if you could register your interest, which can be done by clicking here.
