St Nicholas Hospice Care’s Thank-a-Thon
At St Nic’s we are currently celebrating 40 years of caring for the people of West Suffolk and Thetford facing dying, death and grief, and today (Wednesday, 11 October), we want to say a big thank you to those who have supported our journey.
Members of our staff will be manning the phones and visiting people in the community as we make it our mission to thank as many people as possible for their support during our Thank-a-Thon.
Alison Bacon-Snow, our Supporter Care Manager, said: “There are so many people who we want to say thank you to. As a charity over the past 40 years, we have been so blessed to have so much support from the people of West Suffolk and Thetford. Our communities have always been there for us.
“We hope people already know how much their fundraising, volunteering and support means to us, but as we celebrate 40 years of St Nic’s, we just wanted to share our appreciation a little further.
“On behalf of everyone at St Nicholas Hospice Care, I’d like to thank everyone who has shown us kindness in any way. Our community make such a difference to us, and we can only do what we do because of your generosity.”
In the video below we kick-off our day of thanks.
Please keep an eye on our social media channels throughout today as we’ll be sharing plenty of thank you content.
