Hospice Education

St Nicholas Hospice Care works jointly in partnership with St Elizabeth and St Helena Hospices to deliver Hospice Education

The Hospice Education collaboration with St Elizabeth and St Helena Hospices provides one place for health and social care professionals to visit, learn new skills and share ideas to increase knowledge and skill sets to better meet the needs of the communities we serve.

A range of courses and education is provided by Hospice Education, from introductory sessions, to palliative care masterclasses and full study days.

Training and education is provided both online and in person and covers an extensive range of topics for health and social care professionals involved in the care of individuals facing incurable illness and bereavement.

In-person training may take place at St Helena’s Learning and Development Centre in Colchester, with St Nicholas Hospice Care in Bury St Edmunds or at St Elizabeth Hospice’s Education Centre in Ipswich.

GraveTalk

Creating a space where questions can be shared, discussed and considered is behind one of our Hospice’s educational courses.

For those with questions about death and dying having someone to talk to can often be invaluable – but how do you start those conversations?

GraveTalk is an opportunity for learning from one another in a safe environment where questions can be shared and discussed.
