Choir hopes their harmonies will boost good causes
A charity concert is set to hit all the right notes and help raise funds for good causes.
The concert by Sudbury Sings, which will raise funds for St Nicholas Hospice Care and Sudbury’s Kernos Centre, will take place in St Peter and Paul’s Church in Lavenham on Saturday, 1 July.
The choir, which is made up of more than 80 voices, with three and four part harmony’s will be performing a variety of songs including; music for Abba, The Drifters and Elvis to name just a few.
George Chilvers, St Nicholas Hospice Care community fundraiser, said: “Thank you to everyone who is organising and performing in Sudbury Sings concert which will help raise much-needed funds for our hospice.
“The night will be filled with a variety of music and I hope as many people as possible can come along to enjoy the evening.”
The concert starts at 7.30pm and tickets, which are priced at £7.50, are available from both the Sudbury and Lavenham Tourism Information Offices.
