Birthday bash raises £820 for charity

A generous birthday gesture has helped to raise £820 for St Nicholas Hospice Care.

Paula Manning, opted against receiving presents at her recent 50th birthday bash. Instead, she decided to ask for donations on behalf of the Hospice.

Paula decided to raise funds for the hospice in memory Hannah Manning, who was supported by the Hospice before she passed away in May last year.

The party, which took place earlier this year, was held in Newbury Community Centre. A big thank you to everyone who came along on the day and donated and to all of Paula’s family and friends who helped set up the occasion.
