- Anthony Greensleeves – Horse Whispering Explained
Anthony is a retired veterinary surgeon who started studying equine behaviour in 2006 after his wife, Jeanette, acquired a Highland Pony called Wizard. Jeanette had been looking forward to rekindling her love of horse riding after their children had grown up but Wizard had other ideas. Riding Wizard was not the joyful experience that she had been looking for and after a difficult 12 months Anthony set out to discover how to communicate with him in a way that he would understand.
- Join Anthony as he shares with us his journey as an equine behaviourist, which has involved spending time with a lot of very accomplished horsemen and women both here and abroad. He’s learnt how horses behave with each other and how to use that understanding to change the way that he behaved with them. The solution was simple but as with all things simple the learning was hard. The result was finding empathy for horses – the ability to connect with them both mentally and emotionally – how to get the best from them – how to be with them.
