With thanks to Conrad and Colette Bentley, who are generously opening their garden to the public, in aid of the Hospice.
Visitors will be able to enjoy a long narrow Victorian garden divided into several ‘rooms’, with a large pond attracting amphibians and dragonflies.
Conrad and Colette said: “The garden is planted with varied and dense shrubbery to attract birds, particularly blackbirds, robins, blue tits and goldfinches. Buddleia and Cyanosis attracts butterflies and bees . After several years absence we are lucky to have a hedgehog that visits nightly for food and we hope it will be nesting nearby.”
The garden will be open from 11am – 5pm on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 June.
Collection boxes will be available for visitors to make a donation to the Hospice.
