Relief Volunteer Receptionists and Ward Receptionists
Relief Volunteer Evening and Weekend Receptionists
Could you spare a few hours of your time to welcome visitors to the Hospice? We are looking for Relief Volunteer Receptionists to help fulfil evening and weekend shifts on Reception to cover for annual leave and sickness.
The Hospice reception is often the first point of contact for patients and relatives so a warm and welcoming approach is important, alongside an unflappable attitude and knowing your way around a computer.
Duties of a reception volunteer include welcoming patients and visitors to the building, answering telephone calls and taking messages, using the till, opening and closing reception at the end of the shift.
Relief Volunteer Ward Receptionists
We are also looking for Relief Volunteer Receptionists to work on the Ward reception to cover for annual leave, which will involve welcoming relatives and visitors to the Ward, answering telephone calls and taking messages.
All volunteers will receive relevant training and support.
If you are interested or would like to know more, please contact the HR team on 01284 766133 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
