Join our outstanding Inpatient Nursing Team.

We understand that Registered Nurses are looking for a work environment where your skills are valued but allows you the time and space to provide compassionate care.

Our unique approach features one nurse and one healthcare assistant to four patients, a nursing ratio ensuring our patients and families receive the best of your skills and your time.

A supportive team and an ideal environment to inspire excellent care

Our 12-bed unit is a well-supported setting where you work alongside a multidisciplinary team of fellow Registered Nurses, Health Care Assistants, specialist Medical team and Allied Health Professionals. Additionally, our volunteers bring plenty of positivity and invaluable support to our ward. This diversity of skills, knowledge and experience is fundamental to excellent care, and the ward’s friendly and supportive atmosphere.

Set in the grounds of our peaceful gardens, our Sylvan Ward offers a calming environment for palliative care. At the same time, inspired activities such as afternoon teas, pizza nights and donkey visits make for lasting memorable moments; these are some of the most wonderful examples of holistic care our teams create for our patients and families.

To ensure a positive work-life balance, we facilitate a flexible, family-friendly approach by encouraging the team to self-roster. Our ward nursing team work a 12-hour shift pattern of days and nights. We offer a supportive roster; if you have special requirements for your working pattern, we encourage you to discuss your needs.
