Bank Hospice Nurse

St Nicholas Hospice Care provides outstanding specialist palliative care to adults with life-limiting illnesses across the West Suffolk and Thetford area and are looking for enthusiastic and passionate bank nurses working in both our inpatient unit and community teams on an ad-hoc basis.
Whilst a background in palliative care is desirable St Nicholas Hospice Care does has a well-resourced education programme that provides training to staff. It is a passion in providing outstanding holistic nursing care that we feel is most essential.
This role requires you to work well both individually and as part of the multi-disciplinary team. The candidate must be able to collaborate effectively with other teams, have excellent communication skills and a passion for providing first-rate end of life care.
Palliative care is changing and you have the opportunity to join a team that will be at the forefront of it. Come and join us to rekindle your enthusiasm for holistic nursing care. Please ensure you have the time to commit to an induction period and aware that some shifts can be planned but often we require last minute shifts to be covered.
