Loreen Macklin – Trustee
I am a highly experienced IT Change and Transformation Consultant with extensive global IT programme management experience in the Energy and FMCG sectors and have worked at strategic, tactical and operational levels; leading culturally diverse and virtual teams and managing significant project budgets. I have worked on offshore platforms, in gas processing plants and with R&D establishments in Europe the Middle East and USA.
Other community involvement:
I have been Chairman of the Local Playgroup, on the committee Friends of the School School and a member of the local PCC.
Why did you become a St Nicholas Hospice Care trustee?
To contribute to something other than the corporate world. I have learnt more about myself and others since being asked to join the Trustees and I cannot express how honoured I feel to be part of this team. I contribute my best, but it will never be enough compared with the people I meet at the Hospice and the volunteers who I hope to be able to support in as many ways as possible.
