David Barclay – Treasurer
Between 1968 until 2000, I worked with Barclays Bank. I held a number of senior appointments culminating in Regional Director for Central London. I was also a senior partner of a family farming business at Higham and Chairman of the Suffolk Agricultural Association between 2003 and 2009.
Other community involvement:
Trustee of the Suffolk Foundation. Member of St Edmundsbury Cathedral Council.
Why did you become a St Nicholas Hospice Care Trustee?
Because I care deeply for Suffolk and the people who live in our county. Having worked for much of my life away from Suffolk, I wish to contribute to making things better for our community which is where I was born and brought up. With my experience in business management I feel that I can contribute positively to the well-being of the Hospice.
