Ann Langdon – Trustee
Career Profile:
I worked for the East of England Ambulance NHS Trust (and its previous Ambulance Services) for over 20 years, my role there was working within the Human Resources Department. I retired from the Service in 2014.
Other community involvement:
Since my retirement I have volunteered for several organisations, namely the Hospice (volunteering as Ward Receptionist, Hospice Neighbours and as a Trustee. I also volunteer at the National Trust, Ickworth House within the Volunteer Office team, the Theatre Royal and at several sporting events around Suffolk.
Why did you become a St Nicholas Hospice Care Trustee?
Having worked in Human Resources within the care sector, I wanted to continue to use my skills and experience with St Nicholas Hospice Care, so when I saw they were advertising for people with a Human Resources background, I decided to apply. I am so glad I did so, I thoroughly enjoy all my roles with the Hospice, as well as being a part of providing such an amazing service to the local community. It is a privilege to be associated with the Hospice.
